Storey Gallery

A nine month contract in 2004 to work with the staff and board of the gallery in an organisational review prior to refurbishment of the historic building in which they and other arts organisations were located in Lancaster. External events subsequently inhibited the proposed development until 2007.

Farfield Mill

AFL was invited to assist the board of this working textile mill in Cumbria through rearticulating its vision and organisational structure in order to secure public funding for its next phase of development. Completed 2005.

SECDA

Commissioned by Arts Council England South East, and completed in 2006, AFL undertook a review of the craft infrastructure in the South East region with a view to making recommendations for a model of support and development for crafts. Also included was a focused review of The Making, based in Basingstoke.

Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen

An organisational review of the Guild which was completed in 2005 with proposals for a new model towards which the organisation might move.
